• Water resistant, yes. You can jog in the rain. But they absolutely should not be submerged and they probably would not survive heavy rain.

• Yes I work as a contractor for the army and we have to do inventory of large containers and I just recently had these on for last week inventory and the heat index was 110 here in nc. I was sweating like crazy
