- Answer They are the newer version because they are trying to short squeeze out the flood of fakes. Legit ones should not have a JAN/JAP product code on the bottom of the box and the plastic charging base slide out should have a matching serial#

QuestionCan I only use one side? Like Left side and let the roght side charge and vice versa? Or is the eight side the only side that I can use for one sided ear buds while the left side is charging?

- Answer Kinda, but no. You can use the right and let the left charge but the right ear is required to use the headphones
