(1) Yes alarms allow you to choose weekday and toggle between. (2) The buttons do not glow but the light for the clock is sufficient. (3) It is very easy to set, simply dock your phone on the adapter and it will sync to your phone. Easy to set manually if needed. (5) The brightness can be set and the instructions are easy to read
