You can do it all from the ear bud

Please try again later.yes to all your questions. everything is controlled through tapping one ear bud or the other. sometime are long presses. three equalizer settings are in the ear buds themselves but it only cycles through the three different settings, you cannot adjust lows, mids or highs individually
