There is a little lip on the side that you lift and plug in a charging cord. These take the charging cords that fit many devices.

I must say, headphones are the only electronic piece of equipment that I buy the insurance on. The insurance is a small cost and if something goes wrong they give me a brand new pair of headphones. With my last set of JLab they gave me two new sets of headphones during the five years that I had them.
