The swivel ball mount included uses the standard 5/8-inch thread which means it can mount to many (most?) boom arms. If your boom arm happens to use the standard camera-type 1/4-inch threads, you can connect directly to the mic.

Please try again later.The ball connection to the microphone looks pretty standard, I'm sure you could either find an adapter that would allow you to use an off the shelf boom or fabricate a mount fairly easily to accomplish the same end, but the mic I purchased didn't come with a boom.
