Chris from JVC gave me a Non-Answer to this. Have a newer model Samsung phone with Samsung music player. It will not show on screen as the music app when connected via USB. When I used Google mic & asked to load the music player app, the response was "That app is NOT compatible with this device". How can that be? - It is a respected App that is current/updated. The only answer must be that JVC is discriminatory against Samsung for some unknown reason.
