There are a handful of very common reasons why a JVC KW-M690BW will show incorrect GPS speed and/or location—and most of them come down to installation, signal quality, or which device (radio vs phone) is providing the GPS data. Typical causes include: GPS antenna placement, signal interference, poor antenna connection, and others. You should first ensure you have the latest firmware update on your receiver. If that doesn't solve it, we suggest you bring it to a Geek Squad installation pro at your local Best Buy to diagnose the issue.
