“I want to center the TV above my fireplace, but I know the studs are 4-1/2 inches off-center (studs are 16" apart). So can I mount the bracket on the studs, and somehow adjust the TV 4-1/2 inches to the side?”

For off center installation we would recommend our PMX line as it has the ability to center your TV on the wall regardless of where your studs are located by adjusting the PMXs arm assembly.
