• PDX650 extends only 21 inches, the PDX680(newer model) extends 24 inches from the wall. Also the PDX680 supports more VESA types. From website: VESA Sizes: 200×100 to 700×400 Overall the PDX680 is a slightly heavier duty improved version of the PDX650.

• The PDX680 has a wall plate that can accommodate 24" stud spacing. The PDX650's wall plate can accommodate 18" spacing at the most.
