“I have a house built in 1954, I'm assuming 24 inch stud spacing! The wall I want to mount this on is a wood paneling/waynes paneling, that I believe is a half inch thick! Do I still need to find studs, or can I trust the paneling???”

Aaron, thanks for your question. We can only recommend going with the methods that are in our manuals which would be wood studs, brick or concrete.
