“I will be using android auto. I know most require you to plug in your phone but I do not see an USB plug on the radio. How would I plug in my phone?”

I've been using my android auto app and it automatically syncs with the system without the usb plug. I've only had to use the plug for waze and Kenwood features. Its a separate cable that is run from the back of the system into your vehicle if you need it.

When installed by Geek Squad, they installed a USB cord out the bottom (see pic).

This unit has a USB cord that comes from the back of unit

The installer will need to install an extension from back of radio
