“When I selected in the filter "built in GPS" this radio came up. Earlier in the reviews it was answered that it does not have built in GPS. I do not want to be required to connect my phone to have GPS. I live in the country and travel and use my phone .”

• This DDX9707S does not have build in GPS. This radio would use your phone to get maps from it such as using Android Auto or Apple Carplay. If you want a radio that has built in GPS you can look at the DNX997XR, DNX697S and DNX575S. These 3 radios do have built in GPS.

• I was disappointed with both answers. the question was not if this unit had built in GPS, but if the unit had to be hardwired with a USB connection to cell phone. Why are you all so secretive about this isssue on all your receivers?
