• On my pioneer, the usb cables come out of the back. I would suggest you download the pdf manual for the exact model you are looking at. There are pictures of everything.

• There are no USB ports on the face of the unit. But there are Multiple USB ports in the rear. They have a long enough length that you can hook up your iPhone lighting cable, iPod, or other cable. It has a cool Rapid Charge feature for the phones too. Thanks
