“DMX7706S 06 Dodge Ram harness for the SWC. I don’t have the steering wheel controls do I still need that harness? & stereo front speakers wired to back. Is there a way around that if I have to use that harness? I want to fade front to back.”

I think it might make the install easier but if you don’t have swc than I don’t think you even need it as that’s what it’s mainly for. The only way you’ll be able to fade is from the stereo itself.
