A:AnswerYou are not able to run two sources at the same time. You can use Carplay or Android Auto's GPS and while running this application you can listen to your music for audio. If streaming music via Bluetooth then that is its own source alone and GPS from Android Auto or Carplay wouldn't work.
A:AnswerYou can select the Radio source from the home screen then press the next or previous track buttons to change stations. The next/previous track buttons are located directly under the radio station information.
A:AnswerOn your DDX7706S as long as you got the Siriusxm adapter SXV300 installed select Siriusxm as the source on the radio. From that screen you will see the channel up/down arrows that let you access the channels directly. If you are still having an issue please call Kenwood Customer Service directly.
A:AnswerYou may have to have BB hook up your XM Tuner (if possible) to the unit. If that cannot be done and you want to use that feature you can purchase an XM Tuner from BB and have it connected to the device and then have SiriusXM switch your account over to the new tuner's I.D.
I have this Kenwood in my Mustang and I had them hook the XM roof antenna up with a pigtail to my portable SiriusXM player's cradle (connected to a spare input) and BAZINGA! It works great. I can also use my streaming account via my iPhone if I so choose but out n the middle of the Arizona desert I don't always have a 4G signal to stream music but I always have my SiriusXM satellite signal.
A:AnswerYou might need a dash adapter for it. As far as installing goes, the geek squad that works on vehicles isn't open yet. To my understanding, they may be Phase 3 or Phase 4 depending on your area.
A:AnswerThe fuse does not have to be brown for it to be blown you should still take it out and check also check your power and ground (red and black wires) connections to make sure they're still tight if they weren't soldered together. If you check those two things in and they are good then the unit is probably dead.
A:AnswerAndroid Auto runs all those apps through the head unit. Google Maps will navigate your route while you listen to music from the streaming services on android auto or through the streaming options built-in the head unit; yes, even the radio will play as the navigation runs.
