A:AnswerIt comes ready to use, although I ran 2 pots of water trough it first. You do not need a pod holder that is personal preference. You can also use your own ground coffee with the removable pod and filter.
A:AnswerHi! No, our Keurig K-Elite is only compatible with K-Cup pods, but it does have a strong brew feature that increases the strength and bold taste of your coffee.
A:AnswerGoogle is your best friend. It shows for the K-Elite model, the dimensions are: 10.5 x 7.5 x 11.1 inches and it weighs 10.6 pounds.
I have a very small kitchen with very little counter space which allows this machine to fit perfectly even while sitting on top of the Keurig metal drawer for the pods that I purchased from Amazon. See attached photo.
A:AnswerBecause the directions for this machine are so vague, it took me trial and error to figure it out. You can adjust how long you want the coffee maker to stay on using plus and minus keys. The lighted indicator shows a moon and the sun which is confusing and the directions are terrible. I found the vague directions online for the instructions I never received in the box. They are so vague and pitiful it isn't easy to understand. I preferred my first machine that had the color display not the crappy buttons on this machine. There are very few options for this machine which makes it harder to figure out. See the attachment and look at the bottom right for the directions pertaining to these settings. You will see what I mean about vague.
I don't recommend this machine and I am returning mine after three months whether they accept it or not. I'll leave it for a floor display of the worst machine they have. This one has a defective Descale light that never turned on and after waiting more than 3 months I decided to descale it anyway. The end result is bad-tasting coffee so I'm getting rid of the machine even if I just throw it into the trash.
