“Will it heat water without the kcup? Sometimes I drink plain hot water .. my large machine in the kitchen runs the water through without the k cup. I want the mini for my upstairs bedroom.”

Yes, of course, it works just like the larger units.

Yes, absolutely! The Keurig K-Mini will run without a K-Cup so plain hot water is possible. Keep in mind it does take about two minutes to brew a single cup and the noise appears to be a bit louder than a regular Keurig machine.

Yes, it will run water through without a k-cup. I am planning to use this method for monthly cleaning -- running water through until it comes out clear.
