QuestionIt says it's compatible with all brew sizes but does that include the carafe settings? I don't brew single cups, just the carafe. If it won't be compatible with the carafe setting I don't need it.

- Answer It works with mine just fine. I have the older style k-cup (2 pieces) and the newer one that’s 3 pieces (cup, insert basket and top). Both styles fit and I like using my own coffee! Saves money and I like the flavor! I use filtered water and preset brew strength and size.

- Answer Yes you can grind your own coffee and then put the coffee grounds into the reusable filter. The filter is no different than any other reusable / single use filter. It is recommended to clean these reusable filters every few months to keep maximum coffee flow through the filter.

- Answer Yes! I bought 2 of them with my elite and the only tip is to make sure you read the directions with the kcup as there is a piece to be removed off the bottom.
