“Is there a way to make it only play bass? The bass output is good but it seems like it is also trying to slightly play vocals and that doesn’t sound clean. I don’t want any vocal sounds from this sub, just strictly bass. How can I achieve this?”

You would need to be running the sub from either the sub only output on your stereo or from an amp that is only getting the sub output from your stereo. If you are running the sub on the same output as your other speakers then you will continue to have this issue. If you are using the same outputs you can always turn on the hi-pass filter but then you will loss the high notes from the rest of your speakers.
