Will this work on 1000 watts amp null

You need to look at the RMS of your amp because it is probably somewhere around 600 watts. It would blow this speaker. You need to atleast 2 12s or a 15 inch sub to match your amp. The kicker sub is a great choice. I cannot believe how good it sounds however you need 15 and you will be impressed.
