“Is the kicker 46CXA800.1 to much amp for this speaker”

• I feel it would definitely handle it may want to turn the gain down on the amp however I am using a kicker cxa400.1 on my sons setup and it sounds great and could definitely handle more power

• I have this amp with this kicker subwoofer. My subwoofer blew and started smoking from the overpower from the amp yesterday. I had my set up for less than 2 months
