• This subwoofer box is not powered. A 500 watt RMS amplifier will be required to get the max out of the speaker.

• You need an amp. It's a 2ohm sub despite what people are saying. I have a kenwood 1000watt max, 300rms at 4ohm, 500rma at 2ohm and it will push this amp perfectly.

• No it's Not a powered Box. You Definitely need an Amp. But I had this Box Installed, with Amp, Powered by my factory Head Unit in My 2021 Toyota Corolla ES and It Sounds Amazing! For a Single 10" Sub, It Straight BANGS! Well worth it.
