Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of course. Not sure what you mean by 'pancake' type assuming you mean the circular ones and not that square L7's. This amp can power any and all of Kicker's subs perfectly (up to dual 12"). The CompR's (Red logo) are the higher price point ones this amp pairs perfectly with. The regular Comps (yellow logo) have much smaller magnets and this would be overkill for them, as they don't take much to power. Anything that says 'shallow mount' means the magnet is small and this amp is overkill for it.
