• A:Answer The KICKER 48DCWR122 Dual 12" CompR Subwoofer Enclosure is rated to handle 1000 Watts RMS. For maximum performance from your speaker systems KICKER recommends using an amplifier that is rated to deliver +/- 20% Watts RMS of the speaker's RMS power rating. An amplifier that delivers 800-1200 Watts RMS to the enclosure would be the recommendation. The CXA1200.1 is rated to produce 1200 Watts RMS in to a 2-ohm load and would be a good choice for this enclosure. Q: QuestionWill this amp work with TWO Rockford Fosgate 12 inch P3D4, there @ 600 rms each, is this the amp I need?.. If not, what is the recommendation?

Q: QuestionIs the amp 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm, or 2 ohm. The description tells me it’s 1200 at 2 ohm but then the “overview” tells me it’s only 1200 at 1 ohm. I have two kicker comp r 12s running 2 ohm load, if it’s 1200 at 1 ohm it wouldn’t work for me.

• A:Answer Of course. Not sure what you mean by 'pancake' type assuming you mean the circular ones and not that square L7's. This amp can power any and all of Kicker's subs perfectly (up to dual 12"). The CompR's (Red logo) are the higher price point ones this amp pairs perfectly with. The regular Comps (yellow logo) have much smaller magnets and this would be overkill for them, as they don't take much to power. Anything that says 'shallow mount' means the magnet is small and this amp is overkill for it.

• A:Answer Yes very easily. The 800W is the RMS of the unit, with a Max Power probably around 1200W. So your subs that want 300 RMS x 2 = 600W RMS Amp. This amp will have over 200W of extra power left over, but i wouldn't recommend pushing subs past their RMS value if you don't want to blow them. Even being 50 watts under the RMS is great for the longevity of the subs when tuned properly.

• A:Answer Always separate usually around $40. Other amp brands do sometimes include a bass remote, but usually won't have the capability and features that these do. Usually the cheapest amp brands include one and most likely is 'phone line' style instead of an aux cored style like Kicker's. Nothing wrong with the phone style though
