• This will work anywhere there is an existing 2.5" drive. Just Google your PC or laptop and see if your drive is 2.5". If it is a 3.5" drive you have a desktop drive and will need an adapter to fit into your 3.5 inch drive. Best Buy sells 3.5" to 2.5" adapters as well.

• It has a standard SATA connector so electrically , no problems . You might need a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter ( available at Best Buy ) for use in a desktop computer .
