• The inside is a stainless steel tub and the face is also brushed stainless steel. Not faux stainless. Awesome roller system on racks and the third top rack is great for the knives that don't fit in the silverware basket.

• Ss inside and out. Don't buy this machine, it is terrible and KA is doing nothing to repair or help get me a different machine. I should have returned immediately and bought another brand. See my review.
