We've had this exact unit for months now, and our microwave light is nice and bright. So, there must be something that needs fixing in your unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t believe it’s the light, I believe it’s the protective coating/film on the inside of the glass on the oven door that causes “darkness” by obscuring visibility. This appears to be the case with all microwave ovens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the ight is so dim in microwave, I can barely see inside. Also when I used the oven the first time, I noticed several pieces of glass that apparently came from the right side light cover. KirchenAid customer service never came back to me.
