Questionhow do you use the self clean feature

- Answer Never use the self-clean feature on these ovens. There are a couple things that can and often go wrong with self clean. Mine got permanently locked and I had to pay a technician $200 to fix it. He advised to never use self clean again. I recently had the ovens serviced for a issue not related to self clean and the technician felt the overwhelming need to tell me all the bad things that often go wrong with self clean. Most of the negative reviews are associated with self clean.

QuestionWhere should the junction box be mounted in the cabinet? The installation instructions and online videos do not show where the location is.

- Answer Hello Jeda! Per the Installation Instructions: Electrical supply junction box should be located 3" (7.6 cm) maximum below the support surface when the oven is installed in a wall cabinet. A 1" (2.5 cm) minimum diameter hole should have been drilled in the right rear or left rear corner of the support surface to pass the appliance cable through to the junction box. NOTE: For undercounter installation, it is recommended that the junction box be located in the adjacent right or left cabinet. If you are installing the junction box on rear wall behind oven, it is recommended that the junction box be recessed and located in the upper center of the cabinet.

QuestionI had this oven installed today and I have a question. The instructions say I can set the oven to bake as low as 145. On my oven the bake feature will not let me set below 170. IS this a malfuntion? Or, are the instructions incorrect.

QuestionWe just purchased the KODE500ESS model. Beautiful unit. The LCD panel is lit up so hat you not only see the TIME but the motherboard electronics. Every picture I have seen of this LCD panel is dark except the TIME. Shouldnt we only see TIME?

- Answer The 500 has both upper and lower convection ovens. I believe the 300 has only the upper oven to be convection.

QuestionLights for double oven will not turn OFF. Tried multiple times disconnecting power from circuit breaker and tightly closing doors, no change.When circuit breaker is turned ON, the lights will be OFF for some time and then automatically turn and stay ON.
