Can you broil with the door open slightly? null

I don’t think it’s necessary to crack the door as it was on older model ovens. I do not crack it open on my new kitchen aid

Hi Pesky, With this model If the oven door is opened during broiling, the broil element will turn off in approximately 30 seconds. We hope this helps.
