• This was never offered as an option, and actually wasn't something that either of us took much notice of. We don't have any other red in our kitchen, but it doesn't seem to clash. I also think the red may be associated with KitchenAid's logo color(?). Worst case, you could possibly (and carefully!) paint over it with black enamel.
