“Hello specs say 28 22/28 Very unusual ? What size would kithen aid recommend for opening ? Also I don't see any other range with this peculiar size I'm asking because standard opening for ranges is 30" this range in a 30" opening would look terrible”

It fit our standard opening perfectly. Main difference between it and previous range is that this one is deeper and extends further into the room.
