“I would like to have 2" countertops, but that would make the overall height 36.5" for our kitchen counters which is taller than this electric range. Are the legs adjustable by 1/2" so that we can use an extra thick counter?”

Yes, the legs are adjustable beyond 1/2". In fact, my cooktop is 37-1/8" off the floor.
