“Does the exterior stay cool to the touch when this unit is cooking at it's highest temperature (meaning, I can touch silver exterior and not burn myself)?”

• Haven't used it on high, yet, but would be shocked if exterior got hot. America's Test Kitchen rated it highest among slow cookers, and I am sure a cool exterior was one of their criteria.
