Pros
* A really nice size and look.
* Actual push buttons which are less likely to break.
* Simple set-up
* Long time settings and auto wamer
* Handy wrap around cord holder underneath.
* Very easy clean up
* Nice looking inner pot is perfect to take to the table
Cons:
* The clear glass top is light weight and doesn't seem air tight. I think a heavier (corning ware type) lid would be a a big improvement.
* While the shape is great for holding large roasts it makes it a little tricky to wash in a split sink. I have to put it in kitty corner and with the handles it leaves little room for fingers.
Overall a really nice slowcooker for the price.

This is by far the best slow cooker I have ever had. It really does a great job of keeping a constant temperature. The low setting may be a bit low but is great for making pizza in the crook pot without heating up the oven. When slow cooking meats I like to use the medium setting or use medium for the first couple hours and then switch to low.

I am so happy I chose this slow cooker over others! It looks nice, is big enough to make a good sized meal, and cooks great! I love that it has a medium setting too! Most only have high and low, but this one has medium and a keep warm setting. Great product!!

I like the timer, and the keep warm function after the timer is done. it keeps you from burning the food inside once it is done cooking.
I also like the 'ears' on the sides of the insert. It makes it easier to remove from the base, and easier to handle while cleaning
The controls are easy to use.

Great crockpot with very useful timing and temperature settings. A little pricey, but this is an addition to the same model we have used for many years. Recommend.

I was shopping for a new crockpot and since all of my appliances, both large and countertop are KitchenAid,I decided to splurge and purchase this. I am very happy I did. I have used it many times. I like the 3 temperature settings and the ability to set the exact time for cooking. In the reviews, I was concerned about the lid not fitting tightly. It doesn’t fit as securely as previous crockpots that I’ve owned, but I haven’t noticed that it affects cooking. I am happy I purchased it and looking forward to many crockpot meals.

I have been a loyal KitchenAid fan for decades based on my history with this brand's superior product quality and customer service, so I had no hesitation purchasing a new model when my KitchenAid slow cooker finally cracked after twelve years of heavy service. I was disappointed when the replacement arrived missing the lid gasket, but it didn't bother me as much as the one-hour I spent on hold waiting for customer service to answer my call. I finally hung up and tried the online chat avenue. Apparently, it's automated, and since I didn't purchase the item from the KitchenAid website I couldn't get through the electronic "gate-keeper." I was informed I couldn't be helped and I should call the phone number...the same one I had just wasted an hour on hold. I was fuming. But, I REALLY loved my KitchenAid slow cooker and was determined to get it back to work. So I bought the lid gasket that KitchenAid offers on their website as an accessory. But that's not even the worst of it! When I began using the slow cooker it wouldn't heat!! After one hour, I measured the temperature of the sauce and it only registered 74*F on the high setting. Slow cookers should be 200*F on the low setting and 300*F on the high setting. I decided to measure the temperature every hour, fully understanding that every time I opened the lid I would lose some heat. But, my old cooker was up to simmering within 15 minutes, so if this one worked it would be hotter than 74*F after an hour. Sure enough, after three hours it was only at 170*F on the high setting...barely getting past the 140*F danger zone for bacterial growth. At this rate, I would need to turn this thing on four hours BEFORE I need to use it in order to cook my food safely! The final insult to injury is that I once again tried to contact customer service via telephone and got...nothing. I hung up after a twenty-minute wait on hold. I refuse to be so brand loyal that I jeopardize my family's safety, and it breaks my heart to say "Goodbye" to an old family workhorse, but KitchenAid leaves me no choice. I'm returning this tomorrow and searching for a brand that comes close to what my old, beloved KitchenAid slow cooker gave me...years of reliable, safe service with a dedicated team of professionals standing behind it.

Read lots of reviews before purchase. Best slow cooker I've ever used. The heat selections are just what I wanted. Other cookers tend to over-heat. Stylish, easy to clean, just great.

Is your small crock pot a constant irritation? Then this pot will make you smile. We have used it more in the short time we have had it then we have used the smaller one it replaced, in the last six months.

I have had many a slow cooker in my day, but this KitchenAid is hands down (actually hands up) my favorite. The programming could not be any easier. So far my favorite feature is the temperature is spot and and consistent. I've had some cookers that while on low the contents came to a boil. I have only used the low temp so far. There is an option of low, med, and high, plus auto keep warm. The look is sleek and modern, doesn't look like it came out of "The Brady Bunch" kitchen.

Stainless Steel Front Panel Defective

Unfortunately, I did not keep this purchase and had to return to Best Buy. The stainless steel front panel was defective. Best Buy did not have one in stock to replace it so I just got a refund and never repurchased. Looks like a good unit and is rated very high, but extra long and takes up a lot of space on my counter. The cooking vessel is so long that it would not sit flat in my double sink. So, I am just using my vintage 1979 slow cooker until I decide on another model.
