If you have a smaller room, having it facing going across the room is a good option so you’re not overpowered. If it’s an open room sit of off to the side, in a corner, with the unit facing the sitting area.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Basically it's a question for the manufacturer, Klipsch, or a business who sells them. But, for my own preference and to each of their own, I have mine facing me, the grill that is. Hook ups and control knobs to the back against the wall. Why would someone want to see the back side of a subwoofer with all the hook ups and knobs when it has a very nice grill on the front? I have mine adjusted a little tad over the halfway mark it it sounds great to me. Then again the younger generation probably want it cranked all the way up. Bottom line is, protect your ears from any loud noise, because in my life I learned the hard way.
