yes this subwoofer would be great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your receiver has a rca jack for the subwoofer it will work. It needs to be plugged into the wall to be powered up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work well. I have a Yamaha RX-V679 and I have the sub hooked up to my AVR via a subwoofer cable. I have the sub switched to Auto-on and anytime the subwoofer senses bass at the crossover that I have it set on, it automatically comes on. I've heard of people having issues with other sub and their auto-on feature, but in my specific case, I've had no problems with the auto-on feature on the back of the sub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Klipsch Reference 12 has a standby when not in use. Make sure you have it plugged into a non-switched 120V A.C. outlet. The unit does have a master on/off switch on the back. If you leave the switch on, the unit will go to sleep after a short time if it does not see audio. Just leave the master switch on, the unit plugged into a constant non-switch AC source and it will wake up every time it sees suitable audio. You should not have to do anything else. The Reference 12 is a good performer.
