• There is not fan, no. I occasionally use this for some more graphic-intensive use-cases, and it does get a bit warm. It doesn't overheat, though.

• No fan but it is large enough to hold a cooling pad under the laptop.

• No, it does not have a built in fan. It does allow the laptop to stay raised enough on it's own for the laptop cooling to work great though.
