A:AnswerYes, the Lenovo Legion Go supports a form of bypass charging, often called "battery bypass mode," which allows the device to power itself directly from the AC adapter while plugged in, bypassing the battery to reduce heat and prolong battery life during intensive use like gaming. This feature is described as a mode where the device powers off the battery and stops further charging once the battery is full, allowing it to discharge to a lower level before recharging again, as seen on Reddit forums discussing the Legion Go's features.
How it works:
Power bypassing the battery:
When enabled, the device draws power directly from the connected power adapter instead of continuously charging the battery.
Reduced heat and battery strain:
This process helps to keep the device cooler and reduces stress on the battery, which can degrade over time from constant charging and discharging during extended use.
Battery management:
The mode prevents the battery from being kept at a full charge, which can cause heat and shorten its lifespan. Once the battery reaches a full charge, it will remain at that level or discharge slightly before
the system permits it to recharge again.
A:AnswerIdentifying if a product uses a Zen 4 or Zen 5 CPU without a model number is nearly impossible, as the key architectural difference is internal to the processor. If the product is already running, you can use software to find the exact model. If not, the best approach is to contact the seller directly for the missing product information.
What to look for in the product name
For AMD Ryzen desktop CPUs, the series number is the most reliable indicator of the processor generation.
Ryzen 7000 Series: These are based on the Zen 4 architecture and use the AM5 socket.
Ryzen 9000 Series: These are based on the newer Zen 5 architecture, also for the AM5 socket.
How to identify the CPU if you have the product
If you have access to the product, there are
A:AnswerSo VRR means the screen refresh rate will adapt to the fps that your GPU can produce. So if the GPU is pumping out 43 fps, then screen will refresh at 43 Hz. So it's 1 frame per refresh. 43 Hz means the screen is refreshing 43 times per second. If the LG2 can only produce 25 fps for a game, that is outside the VRR range of that screen. So AMD's LFC will kick in and double or triple the refresh rate so that VRR can turn on. So if the GPU is outputting 25 fps, LFC will turn on so the refresh rate is 75 Hz which is within range for the VRR to turn on. This is how the other devices work too. If the VRR range is 48-120Hz for example and the game is running at 25 fps, LFC will turn on and the refresh rate will be 75 Hz and so it will now be between 48-120Hz.
A:AnswerYo, Nizzo, the date of the next restock is unknown throughout best buy, believe me, I missed my chance too. Feel free to reach out for any more questions for me, and I will notify you when the next restock comes
A:AnswerHey Maxwell,
We appreciate your continued interest in our products. We are working to supply inventory of the Legion Go 2 as soon as possible.

A:AnswerHey Warcham,
Yes, the SSD can be swapped using the Go 2's single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot. Also, while Geek Squad should be able to complete the upgrade after acquiring the respective larger drive, we recommend contacting your local Geek Squad Precinct to confirm what the supported services are at their specific location.

A:AnswerYes, 1200p is generally considered a 2K resolution because its horizontal pixel count of 1920 pixels falls within the 2K category, which refers to screens with approximately 2,000 horizontal pixels. While 2K in digital cinema has a specific standard of 2048x1080, the consumer term 2K has a broader definition and also includes 1440p (2560x1440) and WUXGA (1920x1200), the resolution of 1200p.
A:AnswerHey ShrekUchiha (great username),
This currently is undetermined. There is a certain quantity of units intended to fulfill pre-orders, but available inventory at a store level (including which locations may receive inventory) is also currently unavailable to share. Please stay tuned for updates and in the meantime, contact your local Best Buy to see if they can provide information on the inventory they may receive.

A:AnswerNo Oculink" means the device you're using lacks the OCuLink port, which is a spe- cialized high-bandwidth con- nection for external GPUs (eG- PUs) and other PCle devices. To get OCuLink connectivity, you'll need to add a compatible adapter, such as one that plugs into an avail- able M.2 slot on your motherboard. If your device doesn't have an available M.2 slot and no native OCuLink port, you cannot use OCuLink-based eGPU solutions without a significant hardware upgrade.
What OCuLink is:
It is an external connection technology that directly links to the PCI Express (PCle) bus, providing more bandwidth and lower latency than Thunderbolt.
It was developed by the PCI-SIG (Peripheral Component Interconnect Special Interest Group) to allow for high-performance external devices.
A:AnswerHey Colton,
As of now, there currently will not be a Legion Go 2 configuration that features a 2TB SSD offered at Best Buy.

A:AnswerThose who want a handheld form factor and have money to spend. Its running OLED and vrr compared to the OG in addition to hardware changes. The switch 2 cannot play anything else besides Nintendo games short of being modded. The Claw 8 AI is a better comparison to make against and the Legion Go 2 16gb is about $100 more than the Claw MSRP. Whether performance increase and OLED is worth the increase is yet tbd.
