How many hdmi cables will fit through it? null

Not many. Don't know the answer exactly, but I would guess only two or three. Fortunately, I only needed to run one HDMI cable in my installation.

Yes but will need to cut if using a Newer Samsung with One or U-connect

I was able to route three HDMI cables and an optical cable pretty easily
