  • QuestionIs there a power cord with a right-angle female side that connects to the male power (the bottom outlet) that plugs into the wall? I would like to move the cabinet below the TV closer to the wall. If LeGrand does not supply it, does someone else?

    • Answer this is a real issue. I had Best Buy wall mount a new TV and they used this kit to conceal the wires. However, the smaller part that goes below and has the male receptacle creates a huge problem. I cannot find a low profile/90 degree type cord with a female end to work in this (they are either the male end or not a 3-prong). Since you have to plug in a 3-prong male end of a power cord, it sticks out quite a bit (2.5") and then you have to allow 2-3" to not kink the cord. So now the TV is nice and snug against the wall and the buffet below it now sticks out 6" away from the wall. I cannot find a cable/cord manufacturer (four other calls and three emails later) that has the right cord or an adapter that will FIT in that tiny wall receptacle to remedy this (i have purchased six from Amazon that supposedly will fit but won't - either too big or they also stick out as much as the regular cord so it solves nothing). I spent two hours on tech support with Best Buy and they can't fix this. Legrand US says they don't create any kind of cord or adapter to remedy this. I have sent this question also to Legrand's cable company C2Go, and they have nothing. I won't be buying any more Legrand products and I'm REALLY not happy with the Best Buy installation, but apparently that is my problem and the options I have been provided by Best Buy are to buy a new buffet (and since it is new and matches my dining set that won't be happening) or yank out the cords and forget I spent $100 on the concealment kit.
