As with anything that has a rechargeable battery, you should charge it until the battery is completely full before using it. Then you should use it until the battery is completely dead before charging it again.

Be sure you are using the corrct USB-c port to charge this Chromebook 3 11. Only the USB-c port on the left side of the Chromebook 3 11 will charge the Chromebook. This Lenovo Chromebook 3 11 ships with its own 45W USB-C (3-pin wall side plug, USA compatible) AC adapter/charger, supports PD 3.0, 100-240V, 50-60Hz, included. Plug the charger into the USB-c port on the left side of the Chromebook then plug the charger into a wall socket. There is a LED light next to the USB-c charging port that will light up when the Chromebook is charging properly. Let the Chromebook charge for 15-minutes before trying to turn it on. After 15-minutes of charge time, press the power button and your Chromebook 3 11 will boot up normally. If your Chromebook still does not boot up, now reset your Chromebook back to original factory settings. Here is a link to instructions for resetting a Chromebook: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/183084?hl=en&ref_topic=3417251.
