There is a diagnostics section in the "About ChromeOS" section of settings, which shows battery stats and can run a test. It seems to have a long battery life that doesn't drain quickly if you aren't running demanding programs. Being a Lithium battery if you can keep it charged above 20% and below 80% then you should get the most out of the batteries charge cycles.

It can be replaced at the factory, which can be arranged by your certified technician. You will know then the battery is failing when it will no longer take and hold a charge. You will still be able to use the Lenovo Chromebook 3 11 if the battery will no longer hold a charge, plugged in. If well cared for and used in proper conditions, lithium-ion Polymer batteries can last as long as 3,000 charging cycles (approximately 8 years).
