The current version of Windows transfers most of your program files, which was a nice surprise. I'm using OneDrive and already have IDrive on the computer, which can help with personal files. But read all the instructions for OneDrive before you start--OneDrive makes things more complicated than just downloading to a portable hard drive and then uploading from there, which I did last time.
