Adding more information: the Lenovo you've had for several years probably integrated the software at a sale price. If so, it should have its own Product Key and might be transferable to a new computer. However, it will still be the original software and not a current, updated version.

At the end of the 30-days, you can either opt for one of the subscriptions available, or buy a version of your choice. Also, one Suite application at a time can be used, free, with the Edge browser. Furthermore, in case you are unaware, non-MS spreadsheet programs (as well as Publishing, Writing, etc.) are available from other manufacturers, for free. Some people even prefer these, as they can have better integration between the different programs in the Suite. Finally, the license for the Office software on your Lenovo might be transferable to this new computer, though this usually means terminating use on the older unit. Contact Microsoft for advice on this possibility.

Microsoft Office is built-in to the Windows 11 operating system with the apps preinstalled; however, without purchasing a long-term Office solution, such as Microsoft 365, only a 30-day trial can be activated out of the box and without the trial the functionality of the apps are very limited.
