“Would anyone recommend a HDMI USB-C hub that can output to an external monitor and deliver power at the same time? All the USB-C hubs that I've tried so far would not output to an external monitor when power is plugged in the hub.”

I use the apple one that has HDMI/USB A and USB C power. It enables the HDMI output and powers/charges at the same time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am typing this reply on my Lenovo Duet 5 using a HDMI monitor as a second screen. The USB C hub I just happened to have is a UtechSmart USB Type-C Hub Pro. The battery icon in the tray says "77% - 0:42 until full", so it is charging.
