The audio output jack is only for HDMI and not D-Sub VGA, since HDMI carries both Audio & Video since it's a newer technology, yet VGA doesn't since it's older technology. The HDMI cable will carry audio & video signal to the monitor, the monitor will then transfer the audio signal to the audio jack. Jus make sure your computer is set to output audio through HDMI.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it doesn't have audio. will only get sound if your computer has a sound card

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might try changing the default playback device to monitor in the sound settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Are you using the HDMI port to connect your computer to the monitor? The headphone jack works in conjunction with the HDMI port. HDMI carries both HD video and audio, VGA only carries video. If you are using the VGA port, there will be no sound at the monitor, you will need to plug your headset into your computer headset port.
