“Is the what i'm guessing is the cable management clip on the stand removable? I like it being there an all but the color red is very unpleasing to have as a permanent attachment.”

It is not sadly. I wish they did allow it to be removable. But you won't notice it unless you try to. It's well hidden behind the monitor screen. I took the photo at an odd angle which is why you see it a bit. But if you sit center with the monitor you won't see it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe so with how the monitor sits down into it then is screwed in at the bottom of the base. With the way the monitor itself falls you don't really see the "red" clip. I have two, they are both different shades of orange.
