• Hello, The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential does feature an ambient light sensor that will Dim or Brighten the Display based on the light in the room.

• unfortunately, it does not offer automatic brightness. You may be able to set a routine in google home to adjust the brightness though daily based on time of day when you would typically want it dimmed or brightened.
