• My particular clock whenever the alarm goes off it sounds like a bunch of people screaming and hollering like they're being tortured or something. I think it's actually opening up an audio link to the gates of hel. Sometimes it frightens me but I got used to it after a while. The voices that come out of it while I sleep don't seem to bother me anymore neither. Hope this helps.

• Here is a link to a YouTube video which demonstrates how to set an alarm on the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential then plays the alarm to illustrate the sound. You can also change the alarm volume, change the alarm sound or even select music from your choice of music streaming services as your alarm, as demonstrated in the video.
